Graduate in Economics, Zingonia Zingone (1971), an Italian poet, narrator and translator who writes in Spanish, Italian, French and English. She lives between Italy and Costa Rica. She created collections of poems published in Spain, Mexico, Costa Rica, Italy, India, France, Nicaragua and Colombia. Her most recent titles are Desert Shipwrecks (Vaso Roto, 2013), Petit Cahier du Grand Mirage (Éditions de la Margeride, 2016) and las tentaciones de la luz (Anamá Ediciones, 2018). Her translation works include the most recent poems by the Nicaraguan Claribel Alegría: Voci (Samuele Editore, 2015), which won the international Camaiore 2016 prize, and Amore senza fine (Edizioni Fili d'Aquilone, 2018). Zingonia directs the international poetry column in the Italian magazine MINERVA
